Oasis's missions ministry is based on the Great Commission, found in Matthew 28:18-20, a passage that tells us to "go and make disciples of all nations".
We - every child of God - is commaned to simply "go". The command isn't qualified by specific calling to a foreign country or a particular nation, state, or other locale. Most importantly: going is not optional.
Our intent is to involve every member of Oasis in reaching beyond themselves to achieve personal fulfillment of the Great Commission by sharing the gospel and demonstrating God's love in radical ways.
We don't want to just go to church. We want to be the church. That means praying, giving, going, learning, and living out the cause of Christ in our own backyards and around the globe, all in Jesus' name.
