Jesus Christ -- He is Lord of all.
They put Him to death by hanging Him on a tree;
but God raised Him on the third day....
everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness
of sins through His name.
(Acts 10:36,39,40,43)

Two thousand years ago, on the dusty streets of Palestine, a young itinerant preacher changed the world.

Jesus of Nazareth, the son of a carpenter, performed bold and life-changing miracles, punctuated by an even bolder philosophy. He taught the "Good News", or Gospel, that God the Father wanted to offer a precious gift to mankind: eternal life.

Jesus taught that none of us is good enough or pure enough to earn the right to spend eternal life with God. Yet, that was precisely what God was offering to us.

He taught that there is one God, the Creator of everything -- a loving God who desires to forgive your sins and make you into a better person, a happier person. God wants to make you into a person free from the slavery of sin, a person who can spend an eternity in perfect peace with Him.

The man known as Jesus taught that He was the Son of God, God-in-flesh, and that He sacrificed His life to atone for our sins. To purchase our right to enter into eternal life with God.

Jesus taught us, above all, that God was loving and just and desires to know you intimately. Above all else, God wants your love. And because love must be freely given, God gives each of us the free will to either choose or reject His gift. We can surrender our lives to His guidance; or we can choose to go our own way and live a life without His all-knowing assistance.

God loves you so much, and so purely, that He was willing to sacrifice His own son in order to purchase your soul. He wants to have a deep, intimate, passionate relationship with you--now and for eternity. It is a gift undeserved, but given anyway; it is called Grace, and He wants to give that gift to you, if you are only willing to accept it.
